    If Sisters Mosaic weren't so dang far from me, I would be here more often to satisfy my oft Thai cravings. I mean it goes without saying that Sisters IS authentic Thai cuisine. As authentic as it gets - Sisters is legendary in the NoVA area having been around and reconstituted throughout the years to settle in its current location in Mosaic (as well as other locs). This place is LEGIT. But even if you don't know about Sisters' history, just taste the food. LEGIT. Sooooo good. And I've been sampling Thai all over the place since forever. Now here's the thing - I was here for my first time ever for a pseudo late lunch (arrived around 1:30PM) on a weekday (Tuesday) - the place was virtually empty, lunch crowd had come and gone I guess. Service was excellent - friendly, all smiles, accommodating, responsive, but not pushy or rushy. I was lunching solo and really just wanted a place to park myself and enjoy a nice leisurely lunch. I was in the area of Mosaic, remembered I had always wanted to try Sisters so off I went. It would not have been my place of choice had it been on the weekend (especially on a nice day or when Mosaic is hosting a festival, farmer's market or other outdoor event) when Mosaic is a zoo. No thank you. :) But otherwise, it's a great place and relatively easy to pop into Mosaic if you're in the area. Parking is plentiful - either street parking if you're lucky to find something but at ANY of the parking garages or outside lots sprinkled around the town center. Non of the garages or lots are an onerously long walk so park anywhere, you'll be fine. In fact, you might discover some cool shops to stop into along the way as you're strolling. Another bonus for going to Sisters for lunch - LUNCH SPECIALS. Till 3PM M-F (not including holidays). EXCELLENT VALUE and portion sizes for the money. And it's allllll good qual ingredients, authentically prepared, deeeeeelicious, comes out piping hot, beautifully plated and presented (see my meal pics!) - you can't ask for anything more! JUSTIFIABLE 5 STARS HANDS-DOWN. I had the Green Curry Chicken lunch special. I'm a picky green curry connoisseur because oftentimes the curry sauce is too thin and watery. Occasionally the sauce is too thick. This was not the case here. The sauce was JUST RIGHT and thick enough but not too thick. The sauce was flavorful and the veggies mixed in were plentiful (see my curry pics - you can just taste the goodness with your eyes!). Lunch specials come with a side of rice (bigggg portion size hallelujah AND served on the side so it doesn't get soaked and soggy from the sauce - the ONLY way to order a side of rice with a saucy entree!). The lunch special also comes with a choice of app (see my menu pic for choices) - I ordered the spring roll app which comes with 2 good sized rolls - delicious, tightly rolled, crispy crunchy deep fried and piping hot out of the kitchen!

    I've been a patron of Sister Thai in Fairfax City for an over a decade now. It's my go-to Thai place on NoVA. This branch at Mosaic is no different. I took my mom for an early dinner and we ordered new dishes we haven't tried before; massamun chicken and Pad See Ew. We also had our regular app, Green Curry with Roti. Everything was finger-licking good. Service is fast, and service is immaculate. This is basically the level of quality and service you'd want to receive from all restaurants. This branch is a walking distance from work, and I'll be coming back for lunch specials.

    Had a wonderful Saturday lunch here with my family. Although the place was small, there was no wait time. The food had great flavoring and everything was cooked the right amount.

    This is such a cute little spot (emphasis on little). Very tasty food with great service. I recommend making reservations if you have a big party. I appreciate that when we tried to order the mango sticky rice our server was honest and told us the mango was a little sour that day, we love staff that keeps it 100%.
